Forsíðumyndin hefur ekkert með fyrirsögnina að gera, heldur sýnir hún víði greinarnar sem ég tók fyrstu myndirnar af þegar þær voru byrjaðar að loðna í hlýindunum í mars. Nú tveim mánuðum seinna eru rekklarnir enn ekki blómgaðir. þetta segir sitt um hlýindin norðanlands vorið 2021. Fyrirsögnin snýr hinnsvegar að því að staurinn hefur verið reistur og rafstöðin er komin í notkun. Nú var gröfumaður Eyjafjarðarsveitar fenginn í verkið og það gekk greiðlega. Reyndar svo að ekki vannst tími til heimildasöfnunar meðan á stóð. Engu að síður eru hér myndir sem voru teknar í gær 20. maí staurin var reistur þann 14. Þetta er auðvitað meiriháttar áfangi í starfsemi safnsins sem dróst um meir en ár vegna erfiðleika við póstflutninga á Cóvíð-tímum. Við erum erum auðvitað himinlifandi með staurinn.
