Spildu var snúið á hvolf í gær, með það fyrir augum að hún verði enn betri næsta vor. Það var frekar mikið kaos í henni í sumar það var sáð í 2/3 hluta hennar strax og snjóa leysti. Það reyndist of snemmt allt það fræ eiðilagðist í kuldakafla í maí. Í það sem eftir var fóru allskonar restar af fræi þann 17. maí. Ég var búinn að tína nöfnunum á flestum þeim jurtum og þekkti fæstar. Í þeim parti sem dó uxu hinar ýmsu jurtir af eigin rammleik. Ég lagði mig eftir því að fjarlægja arfann, því hann hefur tilhneigingu til að vaxa úr hófi, en öðrum villigróðri hlífði ég. Það urðu frekar lítil not af spildunni í ár vegna þessarar óvitundar umsjónarmanns um not af þeim, en myndirnar tala sínu máli og þær má allar skoða hér. Spilda was quite a chaos this summer, 2/3 where sown as soon as the snow melted. It turned out to be to early, all that seed was destroyed in a cold period in May. For the rest, all sorts of seeds went in the ground on May 17th. I had lost the names of the majority of those herbs. In the part that died wild herbs grew on their own. I tried to remove the chickweed, as it tends to grow excessively, but let other herbs to themselves.
